Terms of Service
What Low Water Pressure Service Covers
Last updated: October 2026
These terms apply to low water pressure inspections and repairs arranged with Maryland Plumbing Pros. Work may include checking accessible fixtures, valves, filters, regulators, and water lines to identify pressure problems, then completing the repairs listed in an approved estimate.
Some causes require additional testing or work beyond the original visit. Any added work requires a separate explanation and your approval.
Regulated plumbing work must follow applicable Maryland Plumbing Code requirements, including the 2021 International Plumbing Code amendments, and local permit rules. Where required, work must be performed by a Maryland master plumber.
Drinking-water components must meet applicable lead-free requirements under the Safe Drinking Water Act and NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 certification standards. Local cross-connection and backflow rules may also apply.
Requirements can involve the Maryland Department of the Environment, Maryland Department of Labor, or local agencies, including Baltimore City housing or public works departments. Permits, restoration, and unrelated plumbing work are not included unless stated in writing.
Setting, Changing, OR Cancelling a Visit
Appointments are arranged by phone, email, or another written method confirmed by Maryland Plumbing Pros. We will provide the scheduled date or arrival window and any preparation instructions we have for the visit. Please make sure an adult can provide access to the affected plumbing and tell us about access limits, known hazards, or changes in the symptoms before work begins.
If you need to cancel or change an appointment, contact us as soon as possible using the information in these terms. We will confirm whether the schedule can be changed.
If we cannot safely access the work area, or a condition prevents the agreed inspection, we may need to reschedule. A change in the repair plan, materials, or work area may change the estimate or timing.
We will explain the proposed change and obtain your approval before proceeding with additional work. A new appointment or revised scope is not confirmed until we agree on it.
Written Estimates and Payment Approval
An estimate describes the work and charges known at the time it is prepared. The amount may depend on what can be seen or tested during the visit.
Hidden conditions, inaccessible piping, or a pressure problem with more than one cause may require further investigation. We will explain any change to the proposed work and its cost before doing that added work, and you may accept or decline the change.
Payment is due as stated in the written estimate, invoice, or other agreement for the job. Ask us to clarify any payment timing or listed charge before approving the work.
Unless a written agreement says otherwise, an estimate does not include work that is not listed, permit fees, or repairs to damage unrelated to the agreed service. You are responsible for providing accurate billing details and paying the agreed amount for completed work.
If you dispute an invoice, contact Maryland Plumbing Pros promptly so we can review the work and charges with you.
Workmanship Coverage and Its Limits
Maryland Plumbing Pros will perform approved work with reasonable care and in line with applicable requirements. Any workmanship warranty, its duration, and the items it covers must be stated in writing for the specific job.
These terms do not create a warranty period or promise coverage that is not included in that written agreement. Manufacturer warranties, when applicable, are provided under the manufacturer’s own terms.
Coverage may not apply to problems caused by pre-existing defects, normal wear, misuse, unauthorized changes, later work by others, or conditions outside the repaired area. A repair to one pressure-related cause does not guarantee that another cause will not arise.
If you believe covered work has a problem, contact us and describe the concern before arranging changes to that work, when it is safe to wait. We will review the written job terms and the reported condition. Nothing in this section removes rights or protections that cannot legally be waived.
Responsibility for Service-Related Losses
To the extent allowed by law, Maryland Plumbing Pros’ responsibility for a claim arising directly from a particular service is limited to the amount paid for that service. This limit does not apply where the law does not permit it, including liability that cannot legally be waived.
We are not responsible for unrelated losses caused by pre-existing conditions, concealed defects, or work performed by others, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Please tell us about known plumbing issues before work begins so they can be considered in the repair plan.
We will carry out regulated plumbing work in accordance with applicable Maryland Plumbing Code requirements, including the 2021 International Plumbing Code amendments, and local permit rules. Required licensing, lead-free plumbing standards, NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 component requirements, and local backflow or cross-connection rules apply where relevant to the work.
These terms do not excuse a failure to meet those obligations. If a leak or other urgent condition develops, take reasonable steps to limit damage and contact us or the appropriate emergency service.
Questions About These Terms
For questions about these terms or an appointment, contact Maryland Plumbing Pros at (877) 773-0781 or [email protected]. Mail may be sent to The Rotunda, 711 West 40th Street, Baltimore, MD. Include your name, service address, and any estimate or invoice reference so we can identify the matter. Do not send sensitive financial information by ordinary email.
We may update these terms when our practices or applicable requirements change. The version in effect when you approve a service will generally apply to that job, unless a later change is required by law or agreed to in writing.
We will make updated terms available through our usual customer communications or service materials. If a change affects work already approved, we will explain it and seek any approval required before proceeding.
Contact us if you need a copy of the terms that applied to an earlier appointment. If one provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
